We function as a strong clinical team, and have over 130 years experience between us.  We believe continuity of care is important and we work hard to ensure that you see the right clinician at the right time, with the right skills to meet your needs.

Minor Operations

Both of our doctors are trained to carry out minor surgical procedures in the practice.

Nurses

The practice is committed to developing the role of the nurse and health care assistant, in order to give you the best possible service. We are fortunate enough to have very experienced nurses who have received specialist training. Our nurses off a wide range of services;

Health visitors

The practice is pleased to receive health visiting support to advise and help families. If you need to contact a health visitor, they are based at the West Exe Children's Centre, Cowick Street, St Thomas, Exeter,  EX1 1HL.  Telephone: 01392 453440

Midwifery

The practice supports the right of women who are pregnant to choose to have their care provided by the practice, the midwife or a combination of both. The midwife, the nurses and the doctors work closely together to care for pregnant women who choose to register with us. Our nurses can also offer full contraceptive advice to ensure a healthy pregnancy.  To see your midwife, please phone 07977 576885 .

Community nursing

The Community Support Team support people with long term health problems who require extra health and social support at home. The service comprises of nurses, health care assistants, occupational therapists and social workers. Angela Laidlaw  is the lead for the area and can make arrangements for nurses to visit you at home if you are too ill to attend the practice.

Physiotherapy

To book an appointment please telephone 01392 269452 between 9.00 – 5.00 Monday – Friday you will need to have your NHS number to hand.  Waiting times are normally about 6 - weeks.

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

Some services offered fall outside the NHS contract and therefore attract charges.
