The Friends is a relatively informal organisation meeting 3-4 times a year. Our aim is to support the Foxhayes Practice in any way we can, to provide additional equipment that is not funded by the NHS which can be used in the practice for the benefit and comfort of our patients, we hope each in our own small way to repay what we regard as the superb service we receive from the Practice.
We have been able to purchase the following items:
- HCA chair
- Blood pressure monitors
- Dermatoscope
Without the help of the fund we would simply not have been able to obtain these items. The Practice is very grateful that we are able to buy these items which enable our patients to be treated in the surgery rather than travelling to hospitals, and in some cases provide equipment that performs procedures that are simply not available on the NHS.
The Friends of Foxhayes Committee would like to thank all those who have supported the Fund, either by purchasing a 100 club tickets, supporting events or by making a donation.
If you would like to become a member of the group, join the 100 Club or have ideas about how you yourself can help, please give your contact details to one of the Surgery staff who can arrange for a member of the Friends of Foxhayes to contact you.
